A look at the second annual Steampunk cruise

Steampunk is a genre that merges Victorian fashion and culture with science fiction.

Around 600 people went on the second annual Steampunk cruise on the Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas that travels in Florida and Caribbean.

They were dressed as Victorian gentlemen, mad scientists, princesses, and gypsies. The other 3,000 or so guests believed them to be a part of the entertainment. Over the seven day cruise, they dined, drank and played card games.

They visited the Kennedy Space Center in Florida and various islands in the Caribbean, all in their Victorian garb.
