George Zimmerman’s parents have filed a lawsuit against Roseanne Barr for trying to incite "a lynch mob to descend" and take part in "vigilante justice” after she allegedly posted their address on Twitter two years ago.

Robert Zimmerman Sr. and Gladys Zimmerman claim in the suit they filed on Monday that they have been unable to return to their home since Barr put their address on Twitter in 2012.

The suit, which is seeking more than $15,000 in damages, alleges that Barr published the address and then followed that up by tweeting: "If Zimmerman isn't arrested I'll rt (re-tweet) his address again -- maybe go 2 his house myself."

The Zimmermans are also accusing Barr of intentionally inflicting emotional distress.

"Roseanne Barr knew at the time of her tweets and her threat to personally come to the Zimmerman's home that it was an open and obvious call for vigilante justice and were intended by Roseanne Barr to cause a lynch mob to descend on Robert Zimmerman and Gladys Zimmerman's house," the complaint reads.

Additionally, the Zimmermans, "suffered emotional pain and suffering, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, incurred additional living expenses due to an inability to live in their home and have suffered a loss in value of their home."
