Amateur filmmaker Tatia Pilieva asked 20 complete strangers to pair off and share a first kiss -- while she captured the whole thing on tape.

A YouTube video of the project, “First Kiss,” has already gotten over three million hits since it was uploaded on Monday.

A caption with the video simply reads, “We asked twenty strangers to kiss for the first time....”

In many instances, the seconds before and after the kiss are almost as revealing as the smooch itself.

According to Pilieva’s Twitter profile, she likes “movies and basketball.” If the early response to “First Kiss” is any indication, it appears like she has certainly scored a slam-dunk with the short film.
