New Mexico woman arrested for hitting mother with vibrator and causing her to bleed

ALBUQUERQUE, March 6 (UPI) -- A New Mexico woman was arrested and charged with domestic violence and aggravated battery on a household member after she allegedly struck her mother with a vibrator during an argument and caused her to bleed “profusely from her head.”

When Albuquerque police responded to the home after Sheryl Claffy, 60, called to report the alleged attack, the suspect had already fled the scene.

When they caught up with Cara Claffy in a truck near the home, she denied striking her mother with the sex toy, but police discovered the vibrator allegedly used in the assault and arrested her.

“I did notice an electric vibrator on the passenger side floor of the vehicle,” the responding officer wrote in the arrest report. “Clara Claffy told officers she was with her mother today when an argument broke. Her mother came out from a back room, bleeding on her head. She asked her mother what happened and she replied that she had struck herself with a vibrator.”

The mother’s version of events clearly contradicts that story.
