"I couldn't afford $60,000 in tuition, my family has undergone significant financial burden, and I saw a way to graduate from my dream school free of debt, doing something I absolutely love. Because to be clear: My experience in porn has been nothing but supportive, exciting, thrilling and empowering," Lauren said.

The student began giving interviews about her porn work after her identity was outed by another student on Twitter. She said there was a significant boost in attention for her Twitter feed during winter break.

Lauren said she identifies as a feminist and her political views lean libertarian. She said she hopes to one day be a human rights lawyer.
