SEATTLE, March 5 (UPI) -- A local Seattle news correspondent didn't realize he was on air when the studio flashed to him for a report and he was occupied with a grim sports discussion.

The KCPQ news team was giving their morning report when they flashed to Tom Yazwinski only to find he missed his cue.

"I'd be happy, man. Rangers to me are a sinking ship," he apparently said to his crew while looking off-camera. He realized his mistake almost immediately and gave one mortified look to the camera before they went to the news slate.
