Woodland police are once again on the lookout for Mario Lopez because they believe he is connected to more than 100 break-ins over the last two months.
“He went to the front window,” Capt. Robin Faille told CBS Sacramento. “He identified himself. The clerks back there identified him, confirmed that he did in fact have the warrant.” After the clerks told him he would be booked soon, Lopez waited for 15 minutes before taking off.
Lopez, 25, had previously turned himself in to police in January, but made himself scarce after being released on bail on Valentine’s Day. He was previously booked on charges of burglary with forcible entry, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and child endangerment.
Woodland Police Sgt. Brett Hancock told the Daily Democrat that "we have probable cause to arrest him” once Lopez is located -- again.
