WOODSTOWN , N.J., March 3 (UPI) -- March truly did come in like a lion for one Fox Philly reporter…
While he was covering the winter storm that was dumping snow on much of the Northeast on Monday morning, Fox 29's Steve Keeley was out on the streets of New Jersey when a pack of snowplows cruised by.
One of the vehicles got a little too close for comfort and practically buried Keeley under a pile of freshly plowed snow; talk about a case of the Mondays.
Keeley’s pride may have taken a little bit of a hit, but he was none the worse for wear.
Thanks for all well wishes it just looks like it hurt but didn't at all so it's cool to have a good laugh on us @fox29philly— Steve Keeley (@KeeleyFox29) March 3, 2014
My partner Greg Gilroy got it worse hit direct in chest but also unfazed. Woke him up after long drive from Long Island @fox29philly— Steve Keeley (@KeeleyFox29) March 3, 2014
I knew I was in for bad day when saw email from fired Gov. Christie staffer "Time for some plow troubles for Steve Keeley" @fox29philly— Steve Keeley (@KeeleyFox29) March 3, 2014
This is the fifteenth snowstorm Keeley has been forced to report on during this especially snowy winter.
Afterward, he was able to joke about it on Good Day Philadelphia.
"You know I've spent my whole time here, ever since the invention of YouTube, I have done everything I could to avoid being a YouTube star, and I think that hit will be on YouTube,” he said according to My FoxDC.
After the incident in Woodstown on Monday morning, Keeley did live reports from Elmer, Logan Township, Millville, Monroeville and Mullica Hill.
