TORONTO, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- A Toronto woman who found herself trapped in The Bay on Wednesday night turned to social media in an attempt to free herself.

Emily Keeler live-tweeted as she tried to find her way out of the department store -- which she eventually did.

Other people started taking note of Keeler’s "terrifying" situation.

Toronto Police Const. Victor Kwong told CTVNews that a woman did call a police dispatcher around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday about being trapped in the store.

According to Keeler’s Twitter bio, she’s the “Writer | Editor of Little Brother Magazine.”
