High-school student makes billboard prom proposal

EVANSVILLE, Ind., Feb. 27 (UPI) -- High-school student Chase Brown rented a billboard to ask his girlfriend, Emily Arabia, to the prom.

"I knew from the beginning that she wanted something big," said Brown. "This is about the biggest thing I could thing of besides renting a plane."

Brown had a picture of the two of them on the billboard in one of the town's busiest intersections with the words: "Emily, will you go to prom with me?"

The billboard worked; Arabia screamed when she saw it and agreed to go to prom with him. The two lovebirds with attend their prom in April.
