ST. AUSTELL, England, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- A family in Britain said they found their cat three years after he went missing and believe he stayed well-fed hiding out in a nearby pasty factory.

The black cat, Woosie, turned up at the Johns' family's St. Austell, Cornwall, home recently, considerably bigger in size than when he ran off three years ago, the Mirror reported.

A veterinarian found Woosie and returned him to Helen and Phillip Johns Jan. 28.

The Johns think Woosie may have been living off food he found at the Ginsters pasty factory about 30 miles from their home.
