Assistant District Attorney Christopher Meade told Wrentham District Court Wendy Ferris, 46, of Cumberland, R.I., threatened gun violence at King Philip Middle School in Wrentham when another cafeteria baked a batch of cookies to replace a batch she had overcooked, the Attleboro (Mass.) Sun Chronicle reported Tuesday. Advertisement "I'm thinking about going out and buying an AK-47 and shooting this school up," Ferris allegedly told a coworker. Court records revealed Ferris allegedly told coworkers she was going to purchase ammunition and had a list with one specific worker "on the top" of it. Ferris, who is free on $5,000 bail, pleaded not guilty Monday to uttering threats to commit a crime. Ferris, a former Wrentham resident with no prior criminal record, has a gun license and a 9 mm handgun, court records show.
