PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- A Philadelphia developer has come out with a weight loss app designed to encourage fitness through the power of ridicule.

Carrot Fit, from Philadelphia developer Brian Mueller, mocks the "chubby humans" who use it to calculate their BMI and track their weight over time, MedCityNews.com reported Monday.

The $1.99 app is designed to tease the "meatbag" who enters their information into the snarky software and the name-calling gets worse as the user's weight goes up, the developer said.

Future versions of the app are planned to include modules including a 6-minute workout program, MedCityNews.com said.
