The auction house said the Harley-Davidson FXDC Dyna Super Glide, one of two presented to the pontiff by Harley-Davidson in honor of the company's 110th anniversary, will be auctioned Feb. 6 in Paris and the proceeds will go toward a hostel and soup kitchen in Rome, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday. The motorcycle, which bears the pope's signature on the gas tank, comes with a Certificate of Conformity from Harley-Davidson and a Papal Certificate signed by Pope Francis' personal secretary. Bonhams said the motorcycle is expected to sell for $16,000 to $20,000.
