CHARLESTON, S.C., Jan. 29 (UPI) -- A man who rushed into the shot of a Weather Channel expert covering the winter storm in South Carolina ended up with a knee to the groin.

Jim Cantore, the Weather Channel's severe weather expert, was reporting on the winter weather on the College of Charleston campus when a man ran into his shot while screaming at the top of his lungs, WCIV-TV, Charleston, reported Wednesday.

Cantore didn't miss a beat and continued to explain the weather phenomenon while raising his knee to the intruder's groin.

Charleston resident Jeremy McLellan took credit on social media for rushing into Cantore's shot.
