FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- An Iowa couple tied the knot in a Western-themed wedding during Cowboy Church services at the Fort Worth Stock Show in Texas.

B.J. Penning of Corwith, Iowa, and Kim Kelly of Clear Lake, Iowa, said they decided to hold their wedding at Cowboy Church in the Will Rogers Auditorium. They got the idea after attending services during last year's Stock Show, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Monday.

"We attended Cowboy Church here at the Stock Show last year and we decided this would be a good place to get married," said Penning, who raises corn on a 1,500 acre farm in Iowa.

The service Sunday was led by the Rev. Russ Weaver of the Shepherd's Valley Cowboy Church in Egan. Weaver said his church has headed up the religious services at the Stock Show for the past six years.

"The wedding is a first for our cowboy church services here," Weaver said.
