GENEVA, Ill., Jan. 14 (UPI) --
Suburban Chicago police say an elderly St. Charles Township man used his handgun to knock down icicles -- not with the gun stock, but with bullets.
Kane County Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Pat Gengler said the Friday incident involved an 80-year-old man who used a .22-caliber revolver to shoot at icicles hanging from the second floor of his home. Police were summoned by a neighbor.
As of Tuesday morning, no charges had been filed, the Kane County Chronicle reported.
