MALMO, Sweden, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- A man caught smuggling marijuana across the Denmark-Sweden border in socks was sentenced to prison and the Swedish court said his socks will be returned.

The 25-year-old man, who was caught smuggling 2.6 pounds of marijuana from Copenhagen, Denmark, to Malmo, Sweden, in socks concealed in his bag, was sentenced to seven months in prison in Sweden, TheLocal.se reported Monday.
