OSAKA, Japan, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- A vending machine selling brassieres in Osaka, Japan, attracted a lot of attention but few customers.

Une Nana Cool Corp. installed the machine at the end of November in the Tennoji Mio Plaza building. The company said seven bras had been bought via the machine as of Dec. 20, the Asahi Shimbun reported.

The machine's run was designed to be limited, with the main purpose of calling attention to the company's new wireless bras, which it says are easier to fit. The machine was scheduled to be removed Sunday.

A company official said a lot of women had examined the machine but they declined to purchase bras at a cost of 3,000 yen (about $29).

"It must be something that takes time to get used to, but I would like women to see how it feels to buy a bra from a vending machine," the official said.
