Melbourne said witnesses told officers the tourist was engrossed in her cellphone around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and they determined she had been browsing Facebook when she took a wrong step on the St. Kilda pier and plunged into Port Phillip Bay, the Australian Broadcasting Corp. reported Wednesday. Advertisement The woman was fished from the water about 65 feet from the pier. She was still clutching her phone, police said. The woman was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.
