CANON CITY, Colo., Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Officials in a Colorado school district said "sexual harassment" will be removed from the record of a 6-year-old boy who kissed a female classmate on the hand.

School District RE-1 said Hunter Yelton, who was suspended from a Canon City school for kissing a female classmate on the hand, will have the "sexual harassment" offense removed from his record and replaced with the word "misconduct," KRDO-TV, Colorado Springs, Colo., reported Thursday.

"The parents of the student and the principal met this morning. One of the outcomes of the conference was to change the category of the disciplinary offense from 'sexual harassment' to 'misconduct.' The student has returned to school," Canon City Schools Superintendent Robin Gooldy said.
