Philly police arrest 'Grinch' who allegedly stole Christmas decorations

Charges include criminal conspiracy, theft-unlawful taking and theft-receiving stolen property.

Dec. 10 (UPI) -- The Philadelphia Police Department has arrested Marie Amari after they say she was caught on surveillance video taking Christmas decorations from outside a home in South Philadelphia.

Amari, 45, has been charged with criminal conspiracy, theft-unlawful taking and theft-receiving stolen property.

The video of Amari allegedly stealing the decorations was taken at around 2:15 a.m. on November 26th. After the initial theft, it appears Amari returned to the scene about an hour later with a man and loaded up on more decorations.

Police are on the lookout for her male accomplice.
