CHICAGO, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Chicago police said they recovered one of their squad cars after it was allegedly stolen while officers checked out a burglary early Saturday.

The CPD said officers were dispatched to investigate a burglar alarm on the Southwest Side and found their car had been stolen when they returned.

The car was found a few blocks away, but officers were still looking for suspects in the case, the Chicago Tribune reported.
