DECATUR, Ga., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Court officials in a Georgia county said "slave" was listed last month as an occupation on an online juror questionnaire, but the form has since been changed.

DeKalb County Court Administrator Cathy McCumber said the questionnaire, which went online a month ago, was based on an internal list that has been used for 13 years, but it was not known this week whether "slave" was listed as an occupation before the list went online, WXIA-TV, Atlanta, reported Wednesday.

The inclusion of "slave" on the questionnaire's list of occupations was discovered Monday when a man searching for "sales" found the offending item.

McCumber said the word was quickly removed from the questionnaire.

The company that designed the software said entries on the dropdown menus are created by the user.
