LONDON, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Thousands of social media users have joined the search for a stuffed rabbit lost by a little girl during a family visit to London.

Zoe Stewart, mother of Ruby, 3, said she posted pictures of the girl with her beloved "Mr. Rabbit" on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram after realizing the toy had not returned with them from their weekend trip to London, ABC News reported Wednesday.

"On Saturday around 6:30 p.m., we left the Flat Iron Steak Restaurant with Mr Rabbit still in hand. We walked slowly around, past BoDeans restaurants over to Oxford street, and caught the tube to London Bridge. We changed at London Bridge and headed to East Dulwich. Mr. Rabbit vanished," Stewart posted to the "Find Mr. Rabbit" Facebook page.

Stewart said her initial tweet about the missing rabbit has been retweeted more than 1,100 times and her Facebook post was shared nearly 3,000 times.

"I think the whole of the U.K. is looking for him," Stewart said.
