DETROIT, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- A WDIV-TV news reporter in Detroit apparently unwittingly dropped the "F-bomb" on-air while having equipment issues while covering a fire.

When station news anchors segued to Lauren Podell for a live report from the scene of the fire, the reporter, apparently frustrated by technical difficulties and not realizing her mic was turned on, could be heard cursing, "I don't know when we're going, neither does Jim, I can't get this [expletive] in there!"

The anchors apologized for the outburst and moved on.

Podell isn't alone among TV journalists getting caught using vulgar language. A quick check of YouTube turned up several video clips of local and network news people letting loose with "F-bombs" or other vulgarities just in the past year alone.
