Police: Synth-loving woman pulled knife on nightclub patrons

Nov. 8, 2013 at 3:12 PM

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Police in Stockholm, Sweden, said a woman was arrested for allegedly threatening nightclub patrons with a knife because a DJ wasn't playing enough synth music.

Police said the woman took a knife from the kitchen of the Sodermalm nightclub Thursday when her complaints about the lack of synth music went unaddressed, and then used it to threaten patrons outside the club, The Local.se reported Friday.

"Nightclub guest thought the drinks were bad and there was too little synth pop. Misbehaved, left. Threatened guests outside with a knife. Arrested!" police posted on their official Twitter page.

Police spokesman Jan-Olov Lundgren told the Metro newspaper the woman was previously known to police and was arrested on suspicion of making illegal threats.
