Beard Team USA wins big at World Beard and Mustache Championships

LEINFELDEN-ECHTERDINGEN, Germany, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Beard Team USA won a number of first place trophies at the World Beard and Moustache Championships in Germany, including for best English mustache.

The team took home several trophies at the event Saturday in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, with first-place winners including Patrick Fette for best English mustache, Dan Lawlor for best freestyle mustache, Jeff Langum for full beard natural and Burke Kenny for full beard with a styled moustache.

Other Team USA winners included Sean Raiger for the FuManchu category and Aarne Bielefeldt for full beard freestyle.

U.S. competitors taking second place prizes included Ben Juergens for his imperial mustache, Mike "MJ" Johnson for imperial partial beard, Al Underwood for his musketeer, and Jeffrey Moustache for his full beard Verdi.
