MONTREAL, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Canadian authorities said border officers at a Montreal airport seized three pumpkins, each filled with 4.4 pounds of cocaine.

The Border Agency said officers at Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport seized the three pumpkins from the luggage of a woman whose name was not released, CNN reported Friday.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are investigating the apparent drug smuggling incident.

The Border Agency said 173 drug seizures have been made at the Montreal airport since the start of the year.
