Sgt. Timothy Roussin of the Pittsfield Police Department said Dennis Lalime, 64, of Pittsfield lost control of his car around 2 a.m. Sunday and crashed into multiple trees and a rock, the Waterville Morning Sentinel reported Monday. Advertisement Roussin said Lalime told police he was going home from a Halloween party in Old Town and was cooperative with officers. He was wearing clown makeup and green dye in his hair to resemble Batman villain The Joker, police said. Lalime, who was not injured, was arrested on suspicion of operating under the influence.
