APOPKA, Fla., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- A 6-foot alligator was found by the sliding doors outside of a Walmart in Apopka, Fla., authorities said.

The gator was discovered late Saturday and hung around for a while before walking into a nearby wooded area, CF13 News, Orlando, Fla., reported.

Walmart shopper Robin Watkins said she wasn't scared, but was glad employees locked the sliding doors.

"It was just... it was neat. But I am glad they locked the doors for safety because I do have my child with me," Watkins said.
