JIZAN, Saudi Arabia, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- A Saudi Airlines flight was delayed when a passenger informed the pilot that his mother had been left behind inside the airport.
Arabic news site Sabq said the plane was preparing to depart King Abdullah Airport in the southern city of Jizan for a flight to the capital, Riyadh, when the passenger informed the pilot that his mother had been left behind inside the airport, Gulf News reported Thursday.
The pilot aborted the takeoff and airport staff helped the woman come aboard the plane and find her seat.
