Investigators said Felix Gonzalez-Becerra, 42, of Oakland, was arrested Sept. 2 while fleeing the San Mateo restaurant where he allegedly used a replica handgun, forced an employee to open a safe, and then forced all of the eatery's workers into a safe, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Friday.
Police said Gonzalez-Becerra wore a mask Aug. 28 when he climbed into the drive-through window of the McDonald's in Pleasanton where he works as a manager. In that incident, he allegedly forced workers into the freezer at gunpoint and fled with cash.
Gonzalez-Becerra was taken to the San Mateo County Jail.
