Sept. 6, 2013 at 5:20 PM

NEW YORK, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Police in New York said they tracked down and arrested the man who videotaped a 26.5-mile, high-speed trip around Manhattan.

Investigators said Christopher Adam Tang, 30, was arrested late Thursday and charged with six driving violations after he posted a dashboard camera video of his 24-minute lap around Manhattan to YouTube under the username Afroduck, The New York Times reported Friday.

Investigators confiscated Tang's 2006 BMW Z4, police said.

Police said they identified Tang and his car by matching his YouTube video to surveillance camera footage.

The charges against Tang included reckless driving, reckless endangerment and following too closely.
