Israeli soldiers disciplined for Palestinian wedding dance

HEBRON, West Bank, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- The Israeli military said soldiers are being disciplined after a YouTube video showed them dancing at a Palestinian wedding while they were on patrol.

The military said an unspecified number of soldiers from the Givati Brigade are being disciplined after the video revealed they had taken time out from their armed patrol to dance to Korean singer Psy's hit "Gangnam Style" at a Palestinian wedding in the West Bank city of Hebron, NBC News reported Thursday.

The video depicts one of the soldiers being lifted onto a partygoer's shoulders at one point during the dance.

"The soldiers exposed themselves to unnecessary danger and were disciplined accordingly," the spokesman said.
