Woman accused of stealing police cruiser

LINDENWOLD, N.J., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Police in New Jersey responding to a report of a domestic dispute said a woman involved in the incident allegedly drove off in a patrol car.

Officers responded to a Lindenwold address at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday and were questioning the people involved in the domestic argument when one of the parties, a woman, climbed into a patrol car and drove away, KYW-TV, Philadelphia, reported Wednesday.

Police stopped the stolen cruiser minutes later and the woman arrested.

The woman, whose name was not released, was treated in a hospital for an unspecified reason, police said.
