The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said a Deltona woman called deputies Monday to report her 45-year-old son, Sean Lewis, was keeping an alligator in the bathtub at their home, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Tuesday. Advertisement The mother said the alligator had been a gift from a female friend and she decided to call deputies when her son failed to get rid of the reptile after she told him she wanted it out of the bathtub. Deputies said Lewis told them he was keeping the gator for a friend who was supposed to reclaim the animal, but failed to show up at the house. Lewis was arrested on a charge of intentional possession of an alligator.
