Cleveland Browns game streaker pleads not guilty

CLEVELAND, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- An Ohio man accused of streaking at a Cleveland Browns game pleaded not guilty to criminal trespass and public indecency.

Anthony Saveriano, 20, of Northfield Center, pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges Tuesday after he allegedly streaked at the preseason game Thursday against the Detroit Lions, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer reported Tuesday.

"He's a good kid," Saveriano's attorney, Fred Crosby, said after the hearing. "He got caught up in the excitement."

Crosby is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 10 to determine if he is eligible for a first offenders program that would erase the charges once the program has been completed.
