CHICAGO, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- A Navy sergeant ended his parachute jump at the Air and Water Show in Chicago by dropping to one knee and proposing to his girlfriend.

Staff Sgt. Dan Cook marked his last jump at Saturday's show, his final jump before heading to the U.S. Navy flight school, by dropping to one knee and proposing to girlfriend Leah Angott, WLS-TV, Chicago, reported Monday.

Angott, who has been dating Cook for a year, accepted the proposal.
