Cat owners seek owners of underwear stolen by feline

BRISTOL, England, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- The owners of a thieving cat in Britain said they want to return the feline's pilfered underwear, clothes, rags and food to their neighbors.

Richard and Sophie Windsor of Bristol, England, said their 2-year-old cat, Norris, has been bringing home underwear, clothes, rags and food items they believe the feline stole from neighbors, The Mirror reported Monday.

The couple said they have sent a letter to neighbors in the hopes that the owners of the items will come forward and claim their property.

"This is a slightly embarrassing note to have to write but during his travels throughout the neighborhood, our cat, Norris, has brought back an assortment of items," the letter reads. "Unlike most cats, Norris isn't too interested in the local wildlife but has taken to straight up theft. In some cases he's literally been there and got the T-shirt."

The letter features the couple's contact information for neighbors seeking to reclaim their items.
