Jackie and Gary Blake of Jeremy Ranch said they first spotted the mother moose and her two calves in the area Saturday and the family decided to spend the night in the neighborhood, the Salt Lake City Deseret News reported Monday. "I heard this little baby crying and just followed the voice until I saw her nose or his nose sticking out of the window well," she said. The couple said the calve had broken the glass of the window and cut its leg. They said rescuers were able to tie ropes around the calve, estimated to be about three months old and weigh 150 to 200 pounds. The rescuers used the ropes to lift the moose, which ran to its mother and twin. "Every time you see a moose, even if you see 'em twice a day, it's just as amazing every time you see one. They're enormous, they're beautiful," Jackie Blake said.
