Path cleared to Bigfoot's cave at Russian park

MOSCOW, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Officials in Russia's Siberia region said a national park has cleared a path to the cave reputed to be home to the legendary creature Bigfoot.

Kemerovo district officials said the Shorsky National Park, which has been the reputed location of Bigfoot since a reported sighting in 2008, has cleared a path to the Azasskaya Cave rumored to the legendary creature's home, RIA Novosti reported Wednesday.

Volunteers at the park cleared 11 miles of trail and adorned the cave with tables, chairs and a welcome banner for tourists visiting Bigfoot.
