The Gloucestershire Constabulary said it received a tip from the Gloucester Citizen newspaper about a series of YouTube videos depicting teenagers engaging in activities suspected to be violations of the Wildlife Act.
Police said officers arrested a 16-year-old Abbeydale boy and a Saintbridge boy of the same name after visiting their homes Friday. Officers seized cellphones and computers from the boys' homes, police said.
The teenagers were arrested on charges of theft of a swan and attempted theft of a swan. They were released on bail, police said.
