FORT PIERCE, Fla., Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said they were called to a neighborhood on a report of a man sleeping on top of another man's car.
Fort Pierce police said the car's owner called them around 1:25 a.m. July 15 to report an intoxicated man was sleeping on the car, and kept going back to sleep each time the owner asked him to leave, TCPalm.com reported Friday.
Police said the sleeping man identified himself as Carlos Gonzalez.
"He stated that he lives down the road but couldn't explain why he was sleeping on the [man's] vehicle," the police affidavit states.
The man led police to a nearby home, where a person in the house identified him as Pedro Garcia, not Carlos Gonzalez.
The man admitted Pedro Garcia was his real name and he was arrested on charges including trespassing and resisting an officer.
