GAINESVILLE, Fla., July 30 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said a man busted for driving without a license allegedly urinated on the jail's X-ray machine and a detention officer.

Gainesville police said officers observed a vehicle driven by Raymond Lawhorn, 34, hit a curb and nearly strike a marked police vehicle before he was pulled over about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, The Gainesville Sun reported Tuesday.

Police said Lawhorn told officers his driver's license had been permanently revoked and he was taken to the Alachua County jail, where he allegedly urinated on the floor, an X-ray machine and a detention officer.

Lawhorn is facing charges of battery on detention staff, resisting arrest without violence and driving while license revoked. He was ordered held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
