FEIDONG, China, July 16 (UPI) -- Emergency responders in China said a woman attempting to take a shortcut between two walls ended up trapped for seven hours.

Firefighters in Feidong said the woman attempted to take a shortcut through a narrow passageway between two walls and found herself trapped when the space between the walls narrowed further, Shanghaiist.com reported Tuesday.

The woman was trapped for seven hours before someone heard her screams and called firefighters, officials said.

The firefighters freed the woman by breaking down a wall. The woman was uninjured, firefighters said.
