ST. PAUL, Minn., July 4 (UPI) -- A piece of cinema history -- the house where Jack Lemmon's character lived in "Grumpy Old Men" -- is for sale in St. Paul, Minn.

The 1914 bungalow on St. Paul's Lake Phalen was prominently featured in the 1993 movie starting Lemmon and Walter Matthau. Kaci and Jared Nowicki have owned it since 2008 but their family has outgrown it and they're looking to sell, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported Thursday.

The house has been known to attract people because of its connection to the movie.

"It's a little weird, but you get used to it," Kaci Nowicki said. "One time, last fall, some college-age boys came and they had props with them -- fishing poles and stuff -- for the pictures they took.

"We love [the house]. If it had more bedrooms, we wouldn't be moving at all," she said, adding the home's connection to the movie, "was just a fun little interesting thing. But the things that really sold us on the house were probably also what sold the movie on it."

The two-bedroom, one-bath, 1,460-square-foot home with a lake view and brush with fame was listed for $195,000.
