MIAMI, July 4 (UPI) -- Thieves made off with $1.1 million worth of Spirit of the Tsars Golden Vodka from a warehouse in Florida, the store owner said.

The thieves broke into the warehouse in the Miami area June 22 by cutting a case-sized hole through concrete, next to where the vodka was being stored, CNN reported Thursday.

"I couldn't believe it at first, that they actually broke through a concrete wall. They obviously crawled through that hole and handed the vodka out to their team," said Mark Owens, president of Spirits of the Tsars Vodka.

The thieves made off with 752 cases of the vodka, more than 4,500 bottles.

Owens is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the return of the vodka.

He said Spirits of the Tsars Vodka, which is distilled in and imported from Ukraine, only produces 5,000 bottles for export to the United States a year.

"These sorts of events put us in a difficult position where we deplete our limited stock unexpectedly," Owens said in a statement. "We would ... ask our clients to report anyone trying to sell them our product outside of our normal distributors."
