Mayor Antonio Herance of Arroba de los Montes, in Ciudad Real province, said the truck was carrying electrical appliances from Germany to Portugal when it became stuck between two houses on the narrow street around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, ThinkSpain reported Thursday. A tow truck arrived and spent nearly five hours rocking the truck back and forth to free without crashing through the walls of the homes. Authorities said freeing the truck led some houses to lose gutters and external air-conditioning units.
