The couples, who represented a combined 1,500 years of marriage, gathered Thursday at the John Knox Village retirement community in Pompano Beach to renew their vows with Irwin and Paula Woolf, who have been married 75 years, as the guests of honor, The Miami Herald reported Friday.
Chaplain Gregory Fitch, the retirement community's spiritual life director, led the ceremony.
"Love and loyalty alone will avail as the foundation of a happy and enduring home," Fitch said. "Which I'm sure you know very well."
